In Bloom

For many, myself included, this last 2 years has encouraged me to appreciate my surroundings more, notice the seasonal shifts and connect with the things I love - flowers being pretty high up on that list!

Spring has most definitely sprung and the warm weather is here, though it's not officially 'summer' until 21st June. So treat yourself to a few bunches - the nearer we get to summer the more choice you'll have and this time of year is such a hopeful season isn't it! Everything will start to look more lush as we creep through the weeks so you can have a fabulous play and team what you buy with foraged bits and bobs.

So what is In Bloom? It is a creative mini-course designed to inspire you to play with flowers and brighten up your home during this strange period we are in. I have created four super-pretty floral projects for you; there’s a flower crown, an on trend mantel arrangement, a simple spring/summer table idea and a pretty wall-hanging. Each project has easy-to-follow step-by-step photographs to guide you along and I am to hand via my email at [email protected] or message me on instagram for any help you may need.

‘The way Sophie teaches is from example. Her directions are clear and easy to follow and her photography makes you want to buy a fresh bouquet everyday so you can have a flower play’

I really enjoyed Sophie’s winter mini-course! There were 4 great step by step projects, easy to understand and with detailed instructions on how to manage even the difficult parts! Decorating my home became so much easier and the projects were also a great base to modify with different add-on flowers and foliage of my choice. Absolutely amazing value for money!

Hello, I'm Sophie and I've been an interior stylist and journalist for 23 years working on many of the UK's top national interior magazines. Flowers are used in every shoot I've ever done - they add the final touch, that burst of colour and life that lights up the photograph. In 2018, I launched my Style with Blooms series of flower styling courses to share my floral styling knowledge with all of you fellow flower lovers out there. In 2019 I trained to be a florist as my passion for flowers was starting to take over *whoops* and so The Prettiest Posy was born with the simple philosophy: to offer beautiful blooms in stunning colours and textures that epitomise 'prettiness'.
